Rental Agreement

1. Parties to the Agreement

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Drivetimela LLC ("Company," "we," "us") and the individual or entity renting the vehicle ("Renter," "you"). By signing this agreement or completing a rental, you agree to all terms and conditions herein.

2. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

At the time of pickup:

1. The Renter shall inspect the vehicle and note any existing damage on the inspection form
2. The Renter acknowledges receiving the vehicle in good mechanical condition
3. The fuel tank will be full; the vehicle must be returned with a full tank
4. Mileage will be recorded at pickup and return

Any damage not noted on the inspection form at pickup will be presumed to have occurred during the rental period.

3. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time specified on the rental contract and ends when the vehicle is returned to our designated location. Extensions must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Mileage Policy

Unless otherwise specified in your reservation:

• Standard rentals include 150 miles per day
• Excess mileage is charged at $0.75 - $2.50 per mile depending on vehicle
• Unlimited mileage packages are available for select vehicles

5. Security Deposit

A security deposit is required for all rentals:

• Luxury Sedans: $1,000 - $2,000
• Luxury SUVs: $2,000 - $3,000
• Sports Cars: $3,000 - $5,000
• Exotic Vehicles: $5,000 - $10,000

The deposit will be authorized on your credit card at pickup and released within 7-10 business days after the vehicle is returned in satisfactory condition.

6. Renter's Responsibilities

The Renter agrees to:

• Operate the vehicle in a safe and lawful manner
• Keep the vehicle locked and secure when not in use
• Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Report any accidents, damage, or mechanical issues immediately
• Pay for all traffic violations, tolls, and parking tickets incurred
• Return the vehicle clean (excessive cleaning fees may apply)
• Not smoke in the vehicle ($500 cleaning fee applies)
• Not transport pets without prior approval ($250 fee applies)

7. Prohibited Uses

The vehicle shall not be used:

• For racing, speed testing, or performance testing
• On unpaved roads or off-road terrain
• To tow or push any other vehicle
• For commercial purposes without written consent
• While under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• For illegal activities of any kind
• Outside the State of California without prior approval
• By drivers not listed on the rental agreement

8. Insurance and Liability

The Renter must maintain full coverage auto insurance including:

• Comprehensive and collision coverage for the vehicle's full value
• Liability coverage of at least $100,000/$300,000
• Coverage that extends to rental vehicles

The Renter is liable for:

• Any damage to the vehicle during the rental period
• Insurance deductibles in case of a claim
• Loss of use charges if the vehicle is out of service
• Diminished value of the vehicle due to damage

9. Accidents and Breakdowns

In case of an accident:

1. Ensure safety of all parties and call emergency services if needed
2. Do not admit fault or liability
3. Collect information from all parties involved
4. Take photographs of the scene and damage

6. File a police report within 24 hours

For mechanical breakdowns, contact us immediately for roadside assistance.

10. Return of Vehicle

The vehicle must be returned:

• On or before the agreed return date and time
• To the designated return location
• With a full tank of premium fuel (or specified fuel type)
• In the same condition as received (normal wear excepted)

Late returns will be charged at hourly rates for the first 3 hours, then a full additional day.

11. Fees and Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

• Late returns: Hourly rate or additional day
• Fuel not refilled: $10 per gallon plus service fee
• Excessive cleaning: $150 - $500
• Smoking in vehicle: $500
• Pet damage or odor: $250 - $500
• Lost keys: $500 - $2,000 depending on vehicle
• Traffic violations: Violation amount plus $50 admin fee

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
